General Notes: Husband - John Foster McGinnis

---

He was born on the family homestead in Salem township, Clarion County, PA, and amidst the primitive scenes of frontier life grew to manhood. He was called from this life at the age of sixty-seven, and his wife at the age of forty-one. Both were faithful members of the Presbyterian Church, and he was a stanch adherent of Democratic principles.

In the list of his children, there may be a duplicate, Harvey may be the same person as one of the others listed.
