General Notes: Husband - John McClintock

He was born in County Donegal, Ireland, and came to the city of Allegheny, Pennsylvania, in 1822, where he was superintendent of a stone quarry, furnishing the stone for the penitentiary. In 1824 he and his wife moved to Pine township, where he purchased two hundred acres of land. Here he followed farming with great success, and in 1856 retired from active life, selling off most of his personal property and farming-land. He was raised an Episcopalian in Ireland, but united with the M. E. Church when in America.

He and his wife had a family of eight children.

He came to America, and located in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania, in 1822, at which time there was but one store and one hotel there. His first work was quarrying stone for the penitentiary. Later he bought a farm in Pine township, where he and his wife moved and engaged in farming. There they lived and died.
