General Notes: Husband - William McClung


He came to Concord township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, in 1835 and settled on a farm later occupied by his daughter. He reared a family of nine children, five of whom were living in 1895; three served in the Union army during the Rebellion. One of the number died in a rebel prison at Florence, while another was killed in the battle of Seven Pines.
