General Notes: Husband - Frank R. Baker


He was reared in Amwell Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and through boyhood attended the public schools, after which he assisted his father on the farm and continued in the same industry. He also became interested in raising good stock and made this an important feature of his work. He owned 200 acres of some of the best land in Amwell Township. He was a member of the School Board, of which he was, at times, president and treasurer. He served in other offices also, including three years as road supervisor.
He was a member of the Lower Ten-Mile Presbyterian Church at Amity, of which he was treasurer and trustee.
