General Notes: Husband - Samuel S. McCormick


He was a soldier in the federal army during the war of the rebellion and afterwards for long years was connected with the firm of Godfrey and Clark, Pittsburgh. For a season he was in business for himself, but later returned to his old firm.
For the last twenty-five years of his life he lived at Irwin, Pennsylvania, but a few months preceding his death went to the Soldiers' Home at Dayton, Ohio, where he died.
