General Notes: Husband - Jacob Young

He was an early pioneer of Warren County, Pennsylvania. He and his wife had a total of ten children; seven were still living in 1887. He and five of his sons served in the Civil War.

He came from New York state in 1838 and settled in the northeast corner of Eldred Township, where he remained to the day of his death. He was a good quiet industrious man, by occupation a farmer, and blacksmith.
