General Notes: Husband - James McCrea


He was a member of company B, 56th regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, and was wounded at North Anna river, Virginia, May 25, 1864, and died from the effects of his wounds the next day. He had served three years, and re-enlisted for three years more.
