General Notes: Husband - Charles L. Repman


He secured his education in the public schools and high school of Wampum, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. His first business employment was with B. T. Braby, in a grocery store, where he remained for ten years. He was then employed in the furniture and undertaking business for two years. In 1900 he purchased the confectionery store of A. P. Slanker, and from that time carried on his own business, which was enlarged until he dealt in candy in all its varieties, pianos, music, periodicals and magazines, and other merchandise. In 1924, Mr. Repman erected a new, modern, and up-to-date building, the finest store in Wampum, of which he was sole owner. Mr. Repman was a Republican in politics. He was a member of the Home Defense, and connected with the Secret Service during the first World War. He was a thirty-second degree Mason, a member of Ellwood City Lodge, No. 599, of which he was Past Master; a member of Valley of New Castle Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; and Syria Temple, Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of the Knights of Pythias, and of the Modern Woodmen of America. He also was a member of various small social clubs in Wampum. In religion he was a Presbyterian, an elder of his church and clerk of the sessions.
