Came from Scotland with Hance Hamilton and others and settled on Marsh Creek.
They settled on Marsh Creek, Adams (then Lancaster) County, Pennsylvania, in the year 1738.

He and his wife settled in the Marsh Creek settlement, in what is now Adams County, Pennsylvania, in the autumn of 1735. [HLC 1883, 317]
