General Notes: Husband - Robert Shirley

He served as a soldier in the Revolutionary war. In 1792 he came to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, from the Conococheague valley, and located in Conemaugh township, on Blacklegs creek, about two miles from Saltsburg. He became a farmer, and lived in that section until he was ninety-nine years of age.
