General Notes: Husband - Andrew Speedy

He and his wife settled in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, at a very early day, on property later owned by Samuel D. Bell.

He was of Scotch extraction, came from Scotland when a young man and was engaged during his lifetime in farming in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was a good teacher of vocal music.
