General Notes: Husband - Levi Putnam


The source states that he was born in Summit township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, but this seems dubious, the area was not settled by whites until many years after the date of his birth.

He was a cousin to General Israel Putnam, the military hero of the Revolutionary War.
