General Notes: Husband - Oliver Dutton McMillin

His boyhood and in fact most all of his life was spent on the family old homestead in Rockland Township, Venango County, PA, where he followed farm­ing and boating on the river. He was an expert pilot, especial­ly on the Allegheny.

He inherited half of his father's farm at McMillin's Bend, where Kennerdell is located. He and his brother Martin lived there until the spring of 1865, when they sold the place and moved to Franklin Township, Armstrong County, where both made a permanent home.

He died aged seventy-six years, nine months, twenty-four days.
