She was cashier of the Youngsville, Pennsylvania, Savings Bank from 1873 to 1906, when she was elected assistant cashier of the First National Bank of Youngsville, from which position she resigned in 1917. In 1896 she was elected as one of the directors of the Youngsville Public Schools for a three year term and was re-elected in 1899. Always resided in Youngsville.
