General Notes: Husband - Eli Mead


He settled in Steuben County, New York, where he became prominent. Prior to going to Steuben County he lived in North­umberland County, Pennsylvania, where he was magistrate. He settled in New York state in 1789 at Painted Post and later died there. In 1792 he was supervisor of On­tario county.
