General Notes: Husband - Jacob E. Bame

He was educated in the public schools of Harmony, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and also attended a select college until he was twenty years of age. He learned the tailoring business with Seidel Bros., of Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, and remained with them for twelve years, when he formed a partnership with one of the Seidels, and for two years they conducted a tailoring business in Allegheny city. On the dissolution of this firm he began the tailoring business at Aspinwall, and conducted it with much success until 1902, when he disposed of his business and became manager of the tailoring department of Strasburg & Joseph.
Mr. Bame was a member and steward of the Methodist church of Aspinwall, and was a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics and the Maccabees. He was also a member of the republican party.
