General Notes: Husband - Andrew B. Metz


He received a good common school education in his home vicinity, and from boyhood was identified with the family store.
Politically, he was a Republican. In religious attachment his family were members of the Zelienople Presbyterian church. Fraternally, he was affiliated with the Masonic Lodge at Butler.
