General Notes: Husband - Richard Judson Morford

He enlisted three different times for state service during the Civil War. On the occasion of the last enlistment, his regiment was ordered to proceed to Parkersburg, WV, and relieve the Eleventh Virginia Regiment. They were sent to the front, where they remained about sixty days. The command to which he belonged was Company C, Fifty-fifth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.
