General Notes: Husband - Andrew Miller


He was born and reared in Ireland, where he was married. They came to America about 1800. He first located on the road from Hickory to Canonsburg, on a farm in Mt. Pleasant township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and then moved to a place one mile and a half northwest of Hickory, afterward settling on the farm on the north fork of Chartiers creek, which was later occupied by his grandson, A. W. Miller.

He and his wife came from Ireland in 1810.

He came from Ireland to America in 1812.
He was a prominent Democrat in his day, and held various offices of trust in his township and county, such as director of the poor. He was a member of the old Associate Church.


General Notes: Wife - Sarah Steele


After the death of her husband, she lived with her daughter in Mt. Pleasant township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
