General Notes: Husband - William James Munce

He was brought up on the old home farm, which was situated three miles northeast of Washington, Pennsylvania, receiving his education at the schools of the neighborhood. After his parents' death he married.
One of his three farms lay in the oil belt, and comprised 630 acres in one body.
Politically, he was a Republican, but was not always active in his party.

He was only a boy when his father died. He grew to manhood on the farm and, as opportunity presented, attended the country schools. He continued to reside on one of his farms until 1889, when he retired to Washington and took up his residence there. He retained the ownership of three farms, all valuable, well-improved properties, and, even when past four-score years and ten, he still took great pleasure in driving into the country and watching the progress made in the operating of these farms and the increase in his cattle and stock.

General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Miller

She was born in Ireland and accompanied her parents to America in 1854.
