General Notes: Husband - Henry Miller

---

He was born in Wayne township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. In 1833 he purchased 160 acres of timber land in Henderson township, Jefferson County. Building there a log house and barn, he moved his family to the new place and began the improvement of his land. He afterward erected a good frame dwelling and barn, cleared seventy-five acres of land, and also followed rafting, running the lumber down the river to Pittsburgh.
