General Notes: Husband - Isaac Miller

He was from Chester County, Pennsylvania, and a Friend. He came to Centre County when only about fifteen years old, and obtained employment from the Valentines, in whose service he remained a number of years. He afterwards carried on the mercantile business in Bellefonte. The firm of Miller, Thomas & Co. was then formed for the purpose of running the Mill Hall furnace, and Mr. Miller went there, and remained until the dissolution of the firm. He was afterwards connected with the Howard Iron-Works, but finally moved back to Bellefonte.
