General Notes: Husband - James Miller

He was reared on the home farm. He attended Jefferson College, and after graduating, read law in Washington with Hon. Isaac Leet, being admitted to the bar in 1840. He was also married that year and moved to Wooster, Ohio, there following his profession, and taking an active part in the politics of Wayne County, Ohio. He was a member of the Seceder Church, afterward uniting with the United Presbyterian Church. After his death, his widow returned to Mt. Pleasant township, Washington County, then later moved to Houstonville.
