General Notes: Husband - William Thompson


He and his wife were natives of Hartford County, Maryland. There they remained until their removal to Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, in 1857, when they became residents of Knox township, where the father was engaged in farming and lumbering. They were both faithful members of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and politically he was a Democrat.
