General Notes: Husband - George Shillito


He was born in Ireland, and brought to America at the age of eleven years. His parents settled near Germantown, Pennsylvania. He served in the Revolution, and at the termination of that contest married and settled in Raccoon township, Beaver County, in April, 1812. He died at the age of eighty-four years on his homestead.

He came to Beaver County from Allegheny County, about 1812, and purchased 424 acres of land near where Service church later stood.

He and his wife were born in Ireland, came to America about 1770, and located in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Later they removed to Service in Raccoon township, Beaver County. [GPHBC, 868]
