General Notes: Husband - William Miller

He went from Greene County, Pennsylvania, to Cincinnati, Ohio, about 1808 and started a brickyard. A flood in the Ohio River ruined the enterprise and he removed to Montgomery township, Hamilton County, Ohio, where he secured title to eighty acres of land. He was drafted to service in 1813, near the close of the war of 1812, served eleven days; returned home and died of the cold plague (which was prevalent at that time) on his farm at Madisonville, Ohio.
