General Notes: Husband - John Milligan

---

He was born on the home farm where he always lived and upon which he died. He served in Capt. Markle’s cavalry company during the War of 1812 and was a strong whig. He was an elder in the old “Dick” U. P. church which he helped to found in 1808 and to re-build the house in 1833.
