General Notes: Husband - Foster Milliken

He was a general merchant at Milroy, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, afterwards an iron manufacturer, and was one of the early sheriffs of Mifflin County.

He was actively engaged in business, and so extended that upon his death, in the prime of life, very little was realized for his widow and her children.

One source gives a date of death as March 31, 1851. But it is not clear if this refers to him or his wife. Another source gives a date of birth for his son, James, in 1826, and states that his father died when he was four years old.
