General Notes: Husband - Charles M. Robertson

He was reared in Rostraver township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and upon reaching manhood located on the farm near West Newton which belonged to his father; later this farm was deeded to him and he lived there until his death, which occurred in his sixty-sixth year; his wife survived him about five years. Politically he was a staunch Republican, and in his religious faith was a Presbyterian and an active worker in that church.

He and his wife also reared three nieces of Mrs. Robertson, who while not legally adopted, were generally known by the name of Robertson.
