General Notes: Husband - John Mohney

It was in 1811 that he and his wife came from Northampton County, Pennsylvania, to Clarion County and located on a portion of the land which his father had purchased, erecting a large stone house thereon in 1824. He was a farmer by occupation, and a Democrat in politics, while religiously he was a member of the German Reformed Church. Both he and his wife died on the old homestead.
