General Notes: Husband - Michael Teeple

He was born on the old family homestead in Carroll township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and attended the subscription schools of the neighborhood until thirteen years of age. During his earlier life he conducted a distillery, but after the death of his parents he devoted his entire attention to farming and stock raising. In politics he was an active supporter of the Democratic party, and was equally zealous in upholding the Presbyterian Church, with which he was identified.
