She was educated in the public schools of the neighborhood, and spent her entire life on the home farm, where she devoted herself to the care of her parents until their death at an advanced age. She owned the homestead farm and personally superintended all farm operations. The farm formerly consisted of one hundred and sixty-seven acres, of which Miss Moody sold ninety-six acres.
