General Notes: Husband - Milo Thompson

He was born on the family homestead in Greene township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and was educated in the township schools. During his youth he assisted his father in the cultivation of the home farm, then engaged in work on a steamboat, and was thus occupied on the lower Mississippi river for a period of twenty years. He then returned to the homestead, and followed the occupation of farming during the remainder of his life. In political matters he was a Republican, and he and his family were members of the Presbyterian Church.
