General Notes: Husband - Alexander W. Moore


He was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and there grew to maturity and followed the occupation of farming. After his marriage he bought a farm in Chippewa township, Beaver County, settling on a place of one hundred acres. Later he sold this and retired to Patterson Heights. He was a Republican in political matters, and was honored with practically all the offices in the gift of the township. He was a Presbyterian in his religious affiliations, and was a member of the Masonic fraternity and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
