General Notes: Husband - Elisha Wick, Jr.


He was born in New Jersey and when a young man located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and in the early part of the nine-teenth century came to Armstrong County. He located in what is now Sugar Creek township, where he purchased a large tract of land, receiving a patent for the same from the United States government. He continued to live there, having cleared and improved his land.

He served with the Pennsylvania troops during the War of 1812. He was the father of three physicians, all of whom were practicing during the same period of time.
