General Notes: Husband - Rev. David Barclay

He was a Scotch Presbyterian minister, and one of the first settlers at what is now Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, he and his son-in-law, Dr. Jenks, purchasing the land on which that borough now stands.

He was of the fourth generation in descent from Col. David Barclay, the original of the "Barclay of Ury" of Whittier's poem.
