General Notes: Husband - William A. Stewart

---

In 1853 he, with his wife and family, removed to a home in Winslow township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. There he passed away at the age of fifty-nine years, his death being caused by the kick of a Texas pony. He was injured on Friday and died on the following Sunday. He was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church, and was a stalwart Democrat in politics.
