General Notes: Husband - Cyrus Moreland

Civil War: He enlisted in August, 1862, in Company B, One Hundred and Fortieth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, at Jamestown, and was taken prisoner at the battle of Gettysburg. He endured the hardships and horrors of prison life for fourteen months, being confined during this period at the Andersonville prison and at Millen, Georgia.
