Children

General Notes: Husband - Robert Morris

He came to America with his parents in 1819. The family first located in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, from which they soon removed to Greensburg, Westmoreland County; thence after a sojourn of several years they went to Pittsburgh, where the lives of the parents were both ended, and where they were buried. Robert served an apprenticeship under his father, and learned the carpenter's trade. He married and in 1832 they removed to Freeport, Armstrong County.
Besides working at the carpenter's trade and as a builder and contractor, he took a prominent part in several enterprises. He was the prime mover in the project which resulted in the laying out of the Freeport cemetery, and was one of the original stockholders and organizers of the Freeport Planing Mill Company, and the Buffalo Milling Company. He was several times elected councilman, and held other offices in the borough government. Politically he was a democrat, and religiously his affiliation was with the United Presbyterian church.
