She possessed a remarkable memory. Every name and date given for this family was furnished by her entirely from memory, and a subsequent comparison with the family record disclosed not a single error. Indeed, so wonderfully did she retain dates and events of earlier days that she was considered the standard authority on all questions arising concerning them, and she was never found to be in error.
