General Notes: Husband - James Morrison

He was born in Ireland, came to America in 1783, and settled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was its pioneer merchant, and was one of the founders and directors of the Bank of Pittsburgh. He was also engaged in farming in Hanover township, Beaver County, and afterward removed to Mt. Vernon, Ohio, where he died.
