The Morrows originally came from the northern part of Ireland.

He was a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and removed to Beaver County about 1835. He was a farmer and dealer in real estate and succeeded in accumulating a great deal of wealth. He was identified with the U. P. church.
