General Notes: Husband - John Munnel

He was the first ancestor of the family name to settle in America. He and his wife settled in South Strabane township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where they died, hav-ing reared eleven children.

He came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, among the earliest settlers, and located in South Strabane township. In political life he was a Democrat, and in religion a member of the Presbyterian Church.
