---

He lived for many years on his farm, later part of the Morganza, PA, Reform School land. He moved to Illinois, thence to Leavenworth, KS, where he re­sided until his death. He left a widow and seven children. He was a volunteer in a militia company (known as the “Republican Rangers”) from 1840 to 1847.
