General Notes: Husband - Simon Young


He was a miller in his younger years but later became a farmer. For eight years following his marriage he continued to reside in Concord Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and then bought 150 acres in Centre Township, a part of which was included in the farm of his son William J. Young. Simon Young was accidentally killed by a railroad train. He was survived by his widow and by five of his ten children.
