General Notes: Husband - Dr. George Stevenson

He was an officer of the Revolutionary army and a prominent physician and surgeon.

Different sources give different names for his wife, so it is assumed here that he was married twice.

General Notes: Wife - Maria Barker

from Delaware

She was a granddaughter of Gov. Thomas Collins (October 28, 1786 - March 29, 1789), of Delaware. It is known that he had a daughter, Mary (1765-1795), who married Joseph Barker. This may be her parents.
