General Notes: Husband - William Barker


He came to Bulter County, Pennsylvania, in 1825, at the age of fifteen. He settled, in 1832, on what was later the Thomas Ekas farm, on which he made the first improvement, and on another farm in 1851. He served in various local offices, and was for a time Justice of the Peace.
