General Notes: Husband - Thomas Nash

He emigrated to the American colonies in 1637, probably in the ship “Hector,” which arrived in Boston on July 26 of that year. Being resolved to plant a new colony, the entire company sailed from Boston, March, 1638, and disembarked at Quinipiac, where they purchased land from the Indians, founding what is now the city of New Haven. Thomas Nash was a member of the general court, and in 1640 was admitted a freeman. He is thought to have married Margery, daughter of Nicholas Baker, of Hertfordshire, England.
