He was an ordained minister of the Presbyterian church and was located eight years in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and seven years in Pittsburgh as instructor in the Pittsburg Bible Institute. Later, both he and his wife were instructors in the Bible Training School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
