General Notes: Husband - Christian N. Newcomer

---

His education was received in the common school near the place of his birth. Until 1909 he was a farmer in Rapho township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; he then retired and lived at Mount Joy, Lancaster County. He was a director in the First National Bank of Mount Joy, and was also a director in a local insurance company. In civic affairs he always took an active interest; he is a Republican, and held several town offices, including that of school director. Both he and his wife were very pious Mennonites.
